So...I've been bonding...

with this new girl here in FDS...she's a nurse that we are training for Children's Hospital...she loves bats and...I just found out that she's a "recovering Buddhist"...her term, not mine...but she has two statues that she's going to give me...one is a woman stepping off an elephant...she said that she knows that it's a goddess, but she's not sure who...i suspect Lakshmi, but i'll have to see it...the other is a Buddha that is carved out of a piece of log...I can't wait to see them!

She's Catholic now...but it sounds like it's a good fit for her and she's looking at it from a good perspective...she was talking about how many of her rituals came from Pagan ones...so, at least she's not blindly following the anti-Pagan doctrine of so many churches.

How is it that I've never seen this?

Poor Liam (the Pagan here at work)…he got here and was already running a bit later than normal…but he decided to take his shower anyway in the locker room…he had a cup of coffee in the changing area…he went to hang up his shorts and they fell and hit the coffee and spilled all but a couple of sips…plus he then had to go take his shorts up to one of the floor laundry areas to wash and dry them…then he finally gets down here and gets locked into the storage room for a half hour (someone had to get maintenance to use a crow bar to pry the door open)…

I'm tired and coughing…but at least that's it!
